Syracuse Cultural Workers release 2018 Women Artists Datebook
CNY Branch member Nancy Avery Dafoe has a poem "A Piece of the Berlin Wall" in the new Syracuse Cultural Workers' Women Artists Datebook. Dafoe's poem about walls, historical and political, resonates with our contemporary discussions about immigration. Her poem appears beside the month of December in the 2018 datebook.
Mary Gardner Reading at Colonial Inn
Mary L. Gardner is reading from her new chapbook Place Settings (FootHills Publishing) at the Colonial Inn in Watkins Glen, NY, on Monday, September 25 at 7:00 p.m. Gardner, a Skaneateles poet and CNY Branch President of NLAPW, is the featured reader in the event hosted by the Watkins Glen Writers Group. Gardner's poems have won regional, national, and international awards and have appeared in two published chapbooks. She holds a certificate in poetry from the Downtown Writer
