Popoff Receives Poetic Icon Award
Pen Woman Georgia Popoff, along with authors Jackie Warren-Moore, and Omanii Abdullah, received a Poetic Icon Award on October 26, 2018 from Verbal Blend, a spoken-word poetry program coordinated by the Syracuse University Office of Multicultural Affairs within the Division of Enrollment and the Student Experience. One Woman Show for Sue Murphy
Pen Woman Sue Murphy has her work featured in a One Woman Show, "Faces and Figures," at Lemoyne College Wilson Gallery currently and through November 30, 2018. Murphy was one of four artists featured in the Urban Sketchers Exhibit at the View Gallery in Old Forge recently, and her watercolor "D.C. Cherry Blossoms Demo" was accepted into the Philadelphia Water Color Society's 118th Annual International Works on Paper Show. In addition, Murphy had a busy summer with her artwork

Joan Applebaum Showing At Everson Museum
Joan Applebaum had a busy and successful summer in Northern New York working out of her camp on Grass Lake. She taught classes at the Thousand Islands Arts Center and Sackets Harbor Arts Center and was juried into "Along the River’s Edge”. Sales of artwork were very good. From December 19 - January 20, Joan will be part of (Re) Generation: Women Artists After 60 at the Everson Museum in Syracuse. Pictured here is her watercolor, Early Morning Visitor.
