Dafoe Essay Published in Paris Journal 34th Parallel

Nancy Avery Dafoe's wide-ranging essay "Tell Him to be Kind to Women" has just been published in the 60th issue of the cultural journal 34th Parallel that is published in Paris. Her essay was written for and about her grandson Enzo Cusano and the advice we give or wish we could give to the children we love. It explores questions about love, racism in our country, sexism, and cultural mores. "Tell Him to be Kind to Women" previously earned finalist status in the William Faulkner/William Wisdom international competition in the genre.
