Book Angel Tree Donated to Everson Museum by CNY Branch

A beautiful book angel tree was created and donated to the Everson Museum in Syracuse by the CNY Branch of the National League of American Pen Women. The tree is decorated with all handmade ornaments centered on the arts and women artists and writers. Vanessa Johnson led a group of Pen Women in creating the book angels for the tree. Mary Gardner, Janine DeBaise, and Nancy Dafoe put the tree up at the Everson Museum for its annual Festival of Trees, a museum fund-raiser and fan favorite exhibit.

Donated trees are bid on by companies, organizations, and people in the community to raise money for the Everson Museum. This is the second time that the CNY Branch of the NLAPW have created and donated to the Festival of Trees.
