Coni Koepfinger's new play, Unspoken Acts, was just released by Next Stage Press. Koepfinger's play looks at the tragic circumstances of Dale Delaney, a disfigured loner, who finally finds companionship and comfort in befriending a lonely priest who is unsure of his position. Trust is gained as Dale confides in Fr. Frank then is shattered within the sanctity of the confessional. Although the details of Dale’s sordid past are circumstantial, an angry jury holds this poor soul accountable for the death of an innocent little girl, blinding them and judging

Dale as a beast.

It’s exciting to see Coni Koepfinger’s new play published! Watching a story come to life on stage really highlights the power of well-crafted writing. It makes me think about the work behind the scenes, where structure, character development, and pacing are carefully planned. Many authors work with book writing experts to refine their manuscripts, ensuring their ideas are clear and engaging before publication. Does anyone else find professional guidance essential in turning a concept into a polished work?
