Poet Laureate Georgia Popoff Ready for the Stage!

Onondaga County Poet Laureate Georgia Popoff launched her Voices in Verse program on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Syracuse Stage in the Loft Theatre. This special event was the fulfillment of her Poet Laureate Fellowship project. The event was free to the public.

The CNY Branch Chair of Programming and Special Events, Popoff is a poet, creative consultant, and editor who serves the YMCA's Writers Voice Online, Downtown Writers Center; and a member of the Academy of American Poets; and the Under Discussion Series Editor for the University of Michigan Press.
